Vivienne Walker was founded by Meg Jacobs in 2014, named after her two children, Vivienne and Walker. After a long career in retail, Meg decided to go out on a limb and start making patterns of her version of a classic mumu she dreamed up. Made in small batches, her classic mumu consistently sold out. In 2021, with some spare time on her hands, she made plans to scale it up.

The summer 2022 collection is inspired by Greek mythology, and the Women's roles and stories throughout its many tales. She was particularly inspired by a book called A Thousand Ships, where the stories from the trojan war are told from an all-female perspective. This season's patterns were designed by an artist and friend--- not to mention a fellow Greek Mythology buff: the lovely Kate Roebuck.

Ultimately, Vivienne Walker is about ease and feeling good in your skin. Generous dresses, pockets, no zippers or fussy clousures, 100% cotton. All made in an effort to carry us wherever our days takes us: from the grocery store, to the office, to being active outside with your kids, taking a nap, or going to a party.
